Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP – Inpatient Units – Per-Diem

About the Role

Join NewYork-Presbyterian/Westchester Behavioral Health as a Per-Diem Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) on our inpatient units. In this role, you will conduct psychiatric assessments for children and adolescents, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to determine the optimal care setting for patients and their families, and deliver outstanding psychiatric services.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric assessments of children and adolescents in an inpatient behavioral health setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to evaluate and determine the best care plan for patients and their families.

Requirements

• Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Master’s degree in nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).
• Current New York State license.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience working with the child and adolescent behavioral health population in an inpatient setting.
• National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.

Pay

Salary Range: $102.73/hour.

Schedule

This is a per-diem position with a rotating shift.

All roles require on-site presence, and employees should live within a commutable distance to NewYork-Presbyterian. Travel expenses will not be reimbursed.
