Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – In Person

About the role

This is an in-person position providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management to children, adolescents, and adults. After one year of employment, the provider may choose to work 1-2 days remotely based on a 4-5 day work week.

Requirements

• Current license to practice in New York State
• Experience in outpatient psychiatry
• Comfortable working with a diverse patient population
• Strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification
• Board certified in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP)

Skills

• Excellent clinical judgment
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment modalities
