About the role

We are actively recruiting for passionate Advance Practice Providers (Psych PA or PMHNP) in the greater Austin market who can partner with us to achieve that mission. Geode employs evidence‑based care with a measurement‑based approach to track outcomes and provide best‑in‑class psychiatric/therapeutic care. You will join an integrated care team of psychiatrists, therapists, and other providers collaborating to deliver coordinated medication management and psychotherapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric healthcare services including initial mental health evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Medication management
• Supportive psychotherapy as clinically appropriate based on patient needs

Requirements

• Active Psychiatric PA or PMHNP license in the state of Texas
• Active DEA license
• One year of professional work experience for Psych PA’s (preferred over one year in an APP role)
• Passion for high quality care
• Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills
• Proficiency in using an EMR system and maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date electronic health records
• Desire and ability to see a general spectrum of mental health conditions

Schedule

• Hybrid work schedule: most providers work three days onsite and two days telehealth
• Four‑day work week possible
• Expect more in‑person time initially while building patient case load, with follow‑ups on telehealth days
• No nights, no weekends, no on‑call; after‑hours urgent support available
