Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric diagnostic assessments, evaluates need for medications, and prescribe as indicated.
- Makes urgent assessments of persons in crisis, evaluating as appropriate.
- Collaborate with others involved in treatment planning.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and medication changes in compliance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards.
- Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and consultations.
- Ensure a patient-centered approach by fostering a supportive and empathetic therapeutic environment.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
- Active and unrestricted license in the State of Minnesota.
- 2+ years post-grad experience working as a PA-C in the following areas: psychiatry, family medicine, and/or internal medicine, required.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychiatric Nursing from an accredited college or university; active and unrestricted State of Wisconsin License to practice medicine.
- Must meet Mental Health Professional Qualifications in the State of WI.
- Must have a mental health certification (PMHNP) recognized by the board of nursing.
- Minimum 1-2+ years' experience practicing as an APNP is required.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards governing care delivery and operations.
- Proficient in the use of computers including Microsoft Office products and experience with Electronic Health Records.

Pay
This is an exempt position. Total earnings for this position will range from $120,000 - $176,000 annually. Employees in these positions are W2. Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as education, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location.
