About the role
Atlas Medical is seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our mobile provider team. You will provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients living in long-term care, assisted living, and group home settings. This role is independent in managing assigned patients, with Atlas providing quality measures to guide care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient's mental status based on symptoms
- Appropriately diagnose mental disorders and develop treatment plans
- Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues
- Consult with and educate the patient and family
- Work closely with facility staff, patient families, and Atlas/Aegis support staff to provide patient-centered care
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job
Requirements
- National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a focus in mental health
- Current license as a NP/PA in the State of Arizona
- Minimum of one (1) year experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Driver's License (clean record) & reliable transportation
- Proof of current auto insurance & registration
- Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help)
- Current CPR Certification (we can help) & Negative TB Test (we can test)

Pay
$75 per visit (1099)
Schedule
Full-Time, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm (Flexible)
