Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Description
Clarvidais looking for a Full Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Anaheim Adult Program, under the direction of a medical doctor. The role performs comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, diagnosis, medication management, evaluation, and on-going treatment of clients with mental disorders.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Counsults with other members of the treatment team on clients’ treatment plans
- Documents using Anasazi Electronic Health Record, a complete assessment and plan including all medication changes on each client and all other mandatory documents as designated by Program Director
- Obtains medication consents when appropriate
- Participate in staff in-service and case presentation meetings
- Performs duties as designated by ACT model treatment modality
- Performs Home visits and off sites visit as required by the needs of the families and participants
- Provides support and perform other duties as assigned or necessary
- May provide direct supervision to any LPT or LVN’s on staff
- Works under minimal supervision by Program Director and Staff Psychiatrist

Education/Licensing Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college or university with a master’s in nursing
- Current Nurse Practitioner license from the Board of Registered Nursing in the practicing state
