About the role
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, based in Punta Gorda, FL, with flexibility for some remote work.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive mental health assessments
- Develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide psychiatric care, including medication management
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Participate in therapy sessions
- Offer support to clients to improve their mental health outcomes
Qualifications
- Strong background in Mental Health Nursing and general Nursing knowledge
- Proficiency in Psychiatric Care and Mental Health Care services
- Certification and experience as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on mental health
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients and team members
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting
- Active advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) licensure and relevant certification in Psychiatry
- Prior experience in outpatient or clinical psychiatric settings is preferred
