Psychiatric Nurse I (LPN) or II (RN) - Part-Time - Saturday 7am-7:30pm - Walk in Center

Position Summary

The Walk-In Crisis Center is open 24/7/365 and provides in-person mental health crisis care, information and referrals right when you need it the most. Our services are voluntary and available to people of all ages, no matter your insurance coverage or ability to pay.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide psychological evaluations/problem identification, and crisis interventions.
• Provide medical case management as needed.
• Assist consumers with psychological, social development and rehabilitation.
• Congnorate medical care and intervention with staff and psychiatrist.
• Draw blood for lab work for consumers.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with WellPower standards.
• Participate in team meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required.
• Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing. Licensed as a Practical Nurse in good standing with the Board of Nursing of the State of Colorado.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado. License must be in good standing.
• Minimum two years nursing experience; experience in a behavioral health or outpatient clinicpreferred.
• Experience with the severe and persistently mentally ill or similar populations strongly preferred.
• BSNBachelor of Science in Nursing Experience1-3 years of experience working with consumers with a serious and persistent mental illness preferred.
