About the role

Join Access Healthcare Associates, a part of Brigade Health, as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). We are redefining geriatric behavioral healthcare by bringing high-quality psychiatric services directly to seniors in their homes and senior living communities.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for geriatric patients in home and facility-based settings.
  • Diagnosing and managing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, dementia-related behavioral symptoms, and other psychiatric conditions.
  • Prescribing and managing psychotropic medications with careful consideration of comorbidities and geriatric physiology.
  • Providing crisis intervention, behavioral guidance, and family education when clinically indicated.
  • Collaborating with primary care providers, therapists, and facility care teams to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.
  • Building trusted relationships with patients, caregivers, families, and community partners.
  • Maintaining consistent, accurate clinical documentation and follow-through.

Qualifications

  • NP/PA: Current, active, and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in good standing in the state of practice required and must be maintained throughout employment.
  • Experience in geriatric psychiatry, long-term care, or mobile healthcare preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and comfort working independently with remote support.
  • A compassionate, patient-centered approach with respect for seniors and their families.

  • Competitive Compensation: Guaranteed Base Salary + Productivity Total annual compensation range: $150,000–$200,000+, based on experience, caseload, and availability.

Pay Range for Posted Region: $150,000 USD - $200,000 USD
