Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Primary Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive tele-psychiatric assessments and manage pharmacological interventions
• Develop individualized, evidence-based care plans based on patient-specific needs
• Keep up-to-date digital clinical records in a timely and accurate manner
• Comply strictly with HIPAA security protocols and ethical medical standards
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain continuity of care

Candidate Requirements

• Hold valid and unencumbered state licensure as a PMHNP
• Have an active DEA registration (or be willing to obtain one before starting)
• Show proof of independent medical malpractice insurance coverage
• Be comfortable with 1099 contractor status and independent practice
• Be proficient in telehealth technology and remote communication tools
• Display strong self-management skills suitable for a role without direct supervision
