About the role
LifeStance Health is seeking a full-time hybrid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for our Overland Park/Foster St location in Kansas. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience practicing as a PMHNP B/C with an active Kansas License, and be able to practice independently.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Conduct psychotherapy sessions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Active Kansas License
- Experience practicing as a BC PMHNP
- Minimum 1-year experience as a PMHNP
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHRs)
