About the Role
CHE Behavioral Health Services is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) or experienced Physician Assistants to provide psychiatric care in long-term care and rehabilitation settings. CHE is a clinician-led organization serving 100,000+ patients across 800+ facilities in 11+ states.
Schedule
- Full-time or part-time schedules available
- You pick your own weekday schedule (Monday–Friday)
- No nights, weekends, or on-call

Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
- Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Collaborate with an integrated care team (psychiatrists, psychologists, LCSWs, nursing staff)
- Distinguish and diagnose psychological vs. physiological disorders
- Consult on complex or unusual clinical cases

Requirements
- MSN – Psychiatric/Mental Health
- ANCC PMHNP certification
- Experience in psychotropic medication management
- Active DEA (optional)
Family Nurse Practitioners with 3–5 years of psychiatric experience will be considered.
