Position Summary
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Blackbird Health, you'll play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults. You'll build meaningful connections with patients to support their engagement in treatment, spend time understanding their needs, educate them about care options, and provide ongoing support. You'll ensure patients are making progress against their care goals and take necessary steps to keep them safe. You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team to make a tangible difference in the lives of young patients and their families.

The Basics You'll Need
Active PMHNP license in Pennsylvania
A minimum of 2 years experience working independently in the role of a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner
A minimum of 1 year experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults under any nursing license
Board Certification by ANCC or AANP (PMHNP-BC)
DEA license and State Prescriptive Authority License
Autonomous Practice Status
Experience with Google Suite, EHR systems, and tech knowledge
Commitment to a minimum of 10 hours per week
One day minimum onsite at our Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania clinic
