Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-FTCN

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the unit psychiatrist to diagnose and prescribe psychiatric medication for 25 patients.
• Develop and implement psychiatric treatment plans and monitor for effectiveness.
• Work together with an interdisciplinary team including internal medical providers, social workers, psychologists, dieticians, pharmacists, and rehabilitation specialists to restore patients to competency.

Requirements

• A board-certified PMHNP or DNP required.
• Applicants with 1+ years’ experience working as a licensed provider strongly preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience providing psychiatric care to a forensic population.
