Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider - Independent Contractor
About the role
iTrust Wellness is seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider to join our Spartanburg-based team as an independent contractor. This role is primarily in-office but may offer hybrid flexibility, including telehealth visits, once an established caseload is developed.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric services to individuals and families in the Spartanburg, SC area
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to improve access to high-quality mental health care
- Practice independently while maintaining strong clinical judgment and psychopharmacology knowledge
Requirements
- Master’s degree in nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA)
- Board certification in area of specialty (PMHNP preferred, other certifications listed)
- Active, or eligible to receive, unrestricted state licensure in South Carolina
- Active, or eligible to receive, prescriptive authority in South Carolina
- Active, or eligible to receive, DEA Controlled Substances licensure
Qualifications
- Strong clinical judgment and confidence in developing evidence-based treatment plans
- Solid foundation in psychopharmacology with an interest in continued learning
- Ability to practice independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team

Pay
The pay structure will be determined based on experience and qualifications, with the option to transition to full-time W2 employment.
Schedule & Work Setting
Monday–Friday
Primarily in office. Hybrid flexibility, including telehealth visits, may become available once an established caseload is developed.
