About the role
Psychiatric technicians follow the instructions of physicians to care for individuals with emotional or mental conditions. They are responsible for monitoring the physical and emotional well-being of patients, and reporting it to the medical staff. Some psychiatric technicians also assist with rehabilitation programs.
