Psych Nurse (RN) Full Time (Day Shift)
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for psychiatric patients, including child, adolescent, geriatric and chemical dependency patients using the nursing process.
- Administer and/or monitor the effects and side effects of medications and treatments ordered by a physician.
- To ensure safety and provide milieu management and crisis intervention strategies.
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Investigation.
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing (Associate's Degree) required. BSN preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida required.
- Minimum of one (1) year related experience required. Psychiatric nursing experience is preferred.
- Current CPR Certification required.
