Requirements
- Certificate of a Personal Support Worker program that meets the requirements of the Fixing Long Term Care Homes Act and its regulations
- Must be willing to accept verbal and/or written direction
- Able to cope with the physical and emotional demands of the position
- Geriatric, long-term care experience is beneficial
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills, able to read and write in the English language
- Punctual and reliable
Pay
The starting rate of pay is $27.40 per hour, and the terms and conditions are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
