PSOC DevOps Engineer

About the role

The PSOC DevOps Engineer is responsible for the administration, development, and ongoing support of physical security applications, including Lenel OnGuard and Genetec. This role serves as the primary point of contact for physical security application support, managing day-to-day operations, system maintenance, and enhancements across Windows and Linux environments. The engineer partners closely with the security team and external vendors to ensure secure, reliable, and well-documented solutions that meet operational needs, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and supporting project and incident workflows through Jira.

Responsibilities

• Administrate Lenel Onguard and Genetec Application.
• Management of JIRA tickets for assigned applications.
• Windows & Linux Server and System Administration.
• Configure and Install Lenel Onguard and Genetec Application.
• Configure physical security tools as per requirement.
• Runbook document detailing the applications and the server details including Vendor Recommended vs. Actual
• Establish yourself as point of contact for support for physical security applications
• Manage physical security applications by ensuring appropriate maintenance including patches, upgrades, resource changes, etc.
• Collaborate with the physical security team and the physical security application vendors to ensure the solutions meet the needs required.
• Establish positive relationships with primary stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, IT infrastructure, or a related field.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server administration.
• Experience with physical security systems, specifically Lenel OnGuard and Genetec.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with JIRA ticketing systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
