PS Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary

Do you have a passion for working with children and making a real difference in their lives? If so, we're seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join our team, supporting young patients and their families at four convenient locations: Salt Lake, Lehi, Provo, and Layton. This position involves splitting time between two of these locations, with the possibility of covering at the others as needed. Best of all, there are no weekends required!

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures, critiques radiographs and images to maintain quality control program.
• Selects film, adjusts and programs a variety of film changes, including cinefluorography, and may develop films.
• Captures patient vital signs and condition when indicated during exams.
• Reports equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains the necessary precautions for excessive exposure to radiation and electric shock.
• Coordinates the activities for the technical services in the operating room and the portable x-ray area.
• Prepares, cleans and stocks rooms with supplies and linens.
• May assist in orienting new employees or students regarding workflow and procedures of the department.

Requirements

• Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system.
• Current licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of Utah.
• ARRT Registration as a Radiologic Technician R.T. ( R).
