PS Long-Term Certified Substitute_ESCCO/PS
About the role
There will be a PS Long-term Certified Substitute position(s) available at Olentangy Preschool for the 2021-2022 school year; December 2021.
Responsibilities
- Be a preschool teacher for 2nd semester of the 21-22 school year.
- Teach a preschool morning class and provide itinerant services in the afternoon.
- Support the needs of approximately 12 preschool students ages 3-5 in a half day morning classroom.
- Work with a preschool assistant to support the classroom.
- Teach a combination of students with special needs and typically developing peers.
- Ensure the safety of students.
- Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Follow the scope and sequence of the instructional program.
- Observe ethics of the teaching profession.
Requirements
- Hold or be eligible for valid and appropriate licensure for each position with the Ohio Department of Education.
