About the Role

Participate in development activities for UCPath, the PeopleSoft HCM ERP system, including Workforce Administration, Talent Acquisition Management, and ePerformance. Collaborate with core development team members, subject matter experts, and campus project teams to deliver enhancements compliant with industry and application best practices.

Prepare and approve system and programming documentation, initiate and oversee changes in development, maintenance, and system standards, and set technical requirements for complex software specifications. Analyze, design, develop, modify, debug, deploy, and evaluate highly complex software for functional areas.

Provide advanced production support services, participate in support rotations, and offer on-call support as needed. Tasks include reviewing processes, analyzing and fixing system data, working with customers to resolve issues, and designing new solutions to resolve system defects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop defect-free enhancements for the PeopleSoft HCM system.
  • Collaborate with business and technical counterparts to deliver compliant enhancements.
  • Analyze existing software and devise algorithms for new systems.
  • Perform highly complex data analysis, testing, and debugging.
  • Initiate, analyze, design, and apply complex data sources.
  • Enforce complex programming security practices.
  • Provide advanced production support, including issue triage and escalation.
  • Assess and resolve recurring system issues.
  • Develop and maintain PeopleSoft Application Engine programs, Component Interfaces, Fluid pages, Integration Broker services, and custom reports.
  • Improve Fluid UI components using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Develop conversion and system implementation plans.
  • Author technical design specifications and test plans.
  • Prepare configuration strategies and manage object migration with STAT/PHIRE.

Requirements

  • At least 7+ years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM 9.x, including extensive work on at least 2 large-scale system implementation projects involving large user bases and multiple locations.
  • Advanced experience designing and developing solutions for PeopleSoft HCM modules: Workforce Administration, Talent Acquisition Management, and ePerformance.
  • Deep understanding of the PeopleSoft HCM data model.
  • Strong Application Engine and SQL skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Fluid technology, Tiles, Related Content, Event Mapping, and Page Field Configurator.
  • Experience with BI Publisher, Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.
  • Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Proven ability to understand functional needs and how systems support them.
