Pruning Crew Lead

Position Summary

This position serves as a critical leadership role in the management and delivery of high-quality landscape services. They will build positive relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, and team collaboration.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for on-site supervision of a pruning crew.
• Performs lawn edging services.
• Performs pruning services which include—shearing, trimming, and shaping.
• Provides services for ornamental shrubs—to a maximum height of 8 feet.
• Provides services for secondary growth control and lower canopy raising—to a maximum height of 8 feet.
• Demonstrates safe and proficient operation and maintenance of all equipment used which include—hand pruners, loppers, hedge trimmers, hand/pole saws, edgers, chain saws, and backpack blowers.
• Provides training and mentorship to pruning crew to ensure success.
• Performs lawn maintenance as needed to meet the needs of the team.
• Mets timelines and quality standards for all deliverables including record keeping.
• Demonstrates leadership skills that drive a high performing team.
• Proficient in the use of various operating systems and technology to track and report jobs.
• Demonstrates high quality decision making in a fast paced and quickly evolving environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years/seasons of pruning experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Valid DOT card or ability to obtain one.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
