PRTF Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
About the role
The Autism/IDD Unit Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for implementing individualized behavior support programming, collecting data, graphing client progress, and maintaining the safety and security of children residing on the Autism/IDD unit. They will participate in weekly and/or monthly program trainings and meetings regarding individualized child programming, ASD specific instructional techniques, and all staff program meetings. All responsibilities and job functions will be conducted under the supervision of the Autism/IDD Unit Behavior Analyst.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the treatment plan for each client and implement these plans accurately under the supervision of the BCBA.
- Maintain the safety and security of the children in care and attend to their needs in a nurturing way.
- Complete documentation accurately and within the required timeframe.
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge of ABA methodologies.
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge of ASD/IDD instructional methodologies.
- Complete routine data collection and graphing.

- Demonstrate effective time management skills during administrative assignments.
- Maintain clean and organized client and staff areas.
- Actively participate in staff trainings and team meetings.
- Demonstrate professional and accurate information when corresponding with parents, colleagues and supervisors.
- Follow operational protocols relative to position.
- Complete special projects that contribute to overall program development.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in applied behavior analysis, special education, psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain an RBT credential after hire. Pay increase offered once RBT credential is obtained.
- Ability to work with youth who have emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Experience working with children in residential, educational, or clinical environment preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or related developmental disabilities preferred.
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish a climate of trust, confidence, and mutual respect with others.
- Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with others.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not hold supervisory responsibilities.

Pay
Starting Pay: $21.00 With a $3.00 pay differential ($24/hr.) from Friday 5pm - Sunday 10pm!
Schedule
Days/Shifts Needed: 7am-5pm and 12pm-10pm Sunday through Wednesday and Wednesday through Saturday
