Provider Success Consultant - Pay for Quality
Location: Hybrid – requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from an office (East Coast or Central Time Zones preferred). Occasional travel to nearby provider locations may be required.
About the Role
The Care Consultant is responsible for fostering long-term partnerships with providers and driving enhanced patient outcomes in Medicare and Medicaid lines of business. This role involves consulting with providers, conducting assessments, and deploying interventions to enhance capabilities and performance through strategy development, implementation support, training, and data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive provider assessments to identify current capabilities and areas for growth.
- Engage in a continuous consulting support model, including root cause analysis, strategy development, implementation, and outcomes tracking.
- Assist providers with executing action plans focused on population health management, patient satisfaction, and quality performance optimization.
- Lead collaborative meetings with provider staff and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful deployment of strategic initiatives.
- Create and deliver tailored educational initiatives to support providers in implementing recommended interventions.
- Train providers on using proprietary tools, data, and technology to improve performance in critical metrics.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor and track key performance metrics for assigned providers, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Accurately document action plans, interventions, and provider activities in Salesforce.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with physicians, providers, and healthcare systems to support quality improvements.
- Advise executives on segment-specific strategies, including incentive programs, quality management, and operational areas impacting provider success.
- Exercise independent judgment on complex issues with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in consulting within the healthcare industry.
- Experience with Medicaid and Medicare plans.
- Strong understanding of quality-focused care principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Pay
For candidates working in Illinois, Minnesota, New York, Cleveland (OH), Columbus (OH), or Virginia, the salary range for this position is $71,600 to $118,140. The salary is based on legitimate, non-discriminatory factors such as geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
