Provider Relations Representative

This position is responsible for providing support to the provider recruitment and contracting process to ensure strategic coverage for assigned Providers.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good relations with physicians, hospitals and physician groups, and develop and maintain relationships with providers.
• Provide support for complex hospital and physician provider activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of work experience in managed care, or a minimum of 5 years work experience in a managed care environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of health care administration experience in clinical and financial settings, with direct provider communication experience.
• Knowledge of the health care industry.
• Knowledge of contracts, applications, and products.
• Understanding of provider reimbursement methods.
• Working knowledge of claims processing systems.
• PC experience and skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Ability and willingness to travel within assigned areas for responsibility, including overnight stays.

Schedule

This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote. Minimal travel involved.

Pay

Compensation: $55,900.00 - $123,500.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
