Provider Relation Specialist I

Peak Performers has partnered with a managed care organization to assist in their search for a remote Provider Relation Specialist I. In this role, you will act as a liaison between providers, the health plan, and corporate, including investigating and resolving provider claims issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage provider inquiries and resolve issues related to claims, authorizations, credentialing, eligibility, and provider data.
• Conduct provider outreach through phone calls and email follow-up.
• Review claims and authorization denial trends and collaborate with operational teams to identify and resolve root causes.
• Provide education and training on policies, procedures, provider manuals, and self-service tools.
• Support provider onboarding and conduct welcome calls for newly contracted providers.
• Track provider issues, escalations, and resolutions through established ticketing systems.
• Partner with Claims, Operations, Network Management, Credentialing, and other departments to coordinate issue resolution.
• Support provider satisfaction initiatives, surveys, webinars, and educational outreach programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of provider relations experience.
• Experience working in or with a dental office or with a dental provider.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to be a team player, organized, and willing to learn.

Pay

$30.99/hour (W2 contract).

Schedule

6-month contract with opportunity for extension. Remote worksite location.
