Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform physical examinations of patients, assessment and treatment of injuries or illnesses, including women’s health
  • Order and interpret standard tests that will assist in diagnosing and treating patients
  • Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination
  • Educate patients regarding their illness and treatment, including self-care, prevention, and health maintenance
  • Document all assessments, actions, care and treatment responses, and communications in patient record in EMR
  • Assist the medical staff with procedures and treatments
  • Promote wellness educational programs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Autonomous APRN
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Graduate of an accredited APRN program approved by the Florida Board of Nursing
  • 2+ years of clinical experience as an APRN, preferably in primary or urgent care setting
  • Current and unrestricted medical license (Florida)
  • Dispensing license (Florida) or willing to obtain one prior to start date if hired
  • DEA license
  • BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Autonomous APRN designation required
  • Physician (MD\DO)
  • Graduation from an accredited medical school
  • Board Eligible
  • Current and unrestricted Florida medical license
  • Dispensing license (Florida) or willing to obtain one prior to start date if hired
  • DEA license
  • BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
