Provider Enrollment Account Manager- Healthcare

About the role

Serve as the single-point-of-contact for clients, ensuring accountability and responsiveness to their needs. You will compile and maintain current, accurate data for all providers and handle statewide credentialing and recredentialing applications to add providers to commercial payers, Medicare, and Medicaid. This includes completing revalidation requests from government payers, monitoring applications through the end-to-end process, and following up as needed.

If applicable, you will train and manage Enrollment Specialists, reconcile provider enrollment data and/or payor rosters, and maintain the internal provider database to ensure all information is accurate and updated.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing their needs promptly and effectively.
  • Compile and maintain accurate provider data.
  • Complete credentialing and recredentialing applications for commercial payers, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  • Handle revalidation requests from government payers.
  • Monitor the end-to-end process of applications and follow up as necessary.
  • Train and manage Enrollment Specialists (if applicable).
  • Reconcile provider enrollment data and/or payor rosters.
  • Maintain and update the internal provider database to ensure accuracy.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of provider enrollment experience.
  • Understanding and knowledge of the credentialing and provider enrollment process.
  • Excellent multi-tasking, prioritizing, and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service skills with clear and effective communication.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management, staff, and external contacts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
  • Self-sufficient with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
