Description

Providence Place, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, seeks a dedicated and passionate Executive Director to join their growing team. Located in southern Minneapolis, Standish Ericcson neighborhood, they provide services for seniors in TCU (Transitional Care Unit), Care, Long-Term Care, and Memory Care. Established for over 25 years, they are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit supporting seniors.

Shifts Available

Full time days, Manager on Duty weekend/holiday rotation. Wage: $55,000-$85,000, Wage is based on experience. $2,500 retention bonus paid throughout the first year of employment.

Duties

  • Leads all department leadership and operations in achieving company mission, values, goals, and objectives.
  • Lead the facility management staff and consultants in developing and working from a business plan that focuses on all aspects of facility operations, including setting priorities and job assignments.
  • Makes sure each department's activities are monitored, policies are communicated, performance is evaluated, feedback is provided, assistance is given, and coaching and discipline are conducted as needed.
  • Creates an environment that encourages creative thinking, problem-solving, and empowerment in the development of the facility management team.
  • Makes sure nursing care, support department operations, cleanliness and appearance of the facility, staff morale, and resident needs are being addressed.
  • Supports and implements customer service initiatives and business objectives, utilizing survey information to address important areas defined by customers.
  • Makes sure consultants and other support resources are appropriately utilized, staff are appropriately trained, and there is a high level of interdepartmental teamwork.
  • Makes sure buildings and grounds are properly maintained, equipment and work areas are clean, safe, and orderly, and any hazardous conditions are addressed.
  • Reviews and adheres to departmental budget.
  • Makes sure human resources are managed to ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and practices that maintain high morale and staff retention, including effective communication, prompt problem resolution, and promoting a proactive work environment.
  • Qualifications

    • Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) Required within the state of operation (MN), Administrator of record with CBRF Required in WI, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) Preferred, within the state of operation or must be obtained within the first 6 months in role.
    • Bachelor's degree in health administration, Gerontology, Business, Marketing or another related field is required.
    • Experience in marketing, sales, and/or advertising preferred.
    • Minimum of two years' experience in long-term care or acute care required.
    • A minimum of two years' management or supervisory experience in long-term care is preferred.
