About the Role
The Prototyping and Testing Laboratory Scientist will support formulation development, prototype preparation, analytical testing, and material characterization activities in a research laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare liquid, solid, and other formulations and prototypes according to established procedures and instructions.
- Prepare analytical samples and operate analytical instrumentation according to SOPs and experimental protocols.
- Conduct prototype testing using established methods.
- Document experimental activities and maintain accurate laboratory records.
- Support routine maintenance, calibration, and upkeep of laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Maintain laboratory organization, cleanliness, housekeeping standards, and compliance with laboratory safety procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support assigned laboratory projects.
- Draft and revise laboratory procedures with minimal guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, Nutraceutical Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related scientific discipline.
- Ability to follow SOPs and perform routine laboratory assignments accurately.
- Strong computer proficiency and scientific documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with LC/MS and/or GC/MS.
- Experience with analytical sample preparation, routine chemical analysis, and chromatographic data interpretation.
- Experience with technical report preparation.

- Analytical testing, sample preparation, and material characterization (LC/MS and/or GC/MS experience preferred).
- Strong documentation, data quality, SOP compliance, attention to detail, and communication skills.
