Prototype Assembler 2 – 1st Shift

About the role

You will perform mechanical assembly using documented work instructions while following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment. This is an onsite role in Ladysmith, WI, reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Follow documented work instructions and safety procedures.
• Perform mechanical assembly or general manufacturing tasks.
• Operate basic hand tools, pneumatic tools, and lifting equipment.
• Use basic computer skills for completing production or documentation tasks.
• Work in any assigned department as needed.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting, cleaning, and equipment operation.
• Support molding operations, packing products, and performing visual and dimensional quality checks.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and keep work areas organized.
• Willingness to work required overtime (typically 10–20 hours per week).
• Occasionally adjust schedules to meet business needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (Rockwell Automation will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this job opening).
• Typically requires no previous related experience.

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.
