Weeghman & Briggs is seeking a motivated and mission-driven Protocol Analyst 3 to support critical government initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Support mission-critical programs in secure government environments
  • Analyze requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results
  • Ensure compliance with contract and security standards
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and performance
  • Work directly with signals analysis, preferably related to communications signals (e.g., bitstream analysis, waveform analysis, protocol analysis), network troubleshooting, network traffic characterization, and/or network security analysis

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • Experience supporting government or DoD programs
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant experience in signals analysis, waveform analysis, network troubleshooting, network traffic characterization, and/or network security analysis

Qualifications

  • Doctoral Degree with 4 years of relevant experience
  • Master's Degree with 6 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience (must be in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, a Physical Science, or related technical field)
  • Associates degree with 10 years of relevant experience
  • HS diploma or GED with 12 years of experience will be considered for those who have completed one of the following military training courses: 451 (Intermediate Signals Analysis) or 452 (Advanced Signals Analysis) or who have participated in or graduated from the Military COMINT Signals Analysis Program (MCSAP)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications (Security+, CISSP, PMP, AWS, etc.)
  • Agile, cloud, or modernization experience
  • Background in process improvement or analytical services

Pay

The projected salary range for this position is $164,900–$183,200, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and contract requirements.
