Protestant Music Director & Musician

About the role

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a qualified Protestant Music Director & Musician to support Protestant worship services at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico. This is a part‑time/contract position providing musical leadership for contemporary Protestant worship services, weekly rehearsals, and designated special services.

Responsibilities

• Lead music for weekly Protestant worship services and scheduled special services
• Conduct weekly praise‑team rehearsals and coordinate volunteer musicians and vocalists
• Play piano/keyboard or acoustic guitar and lead congregational singing
• Prepare worship music, lyrics, presentations, and assist with chapel audiovisual equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of documented worship music leadership experience
• Proficiency in piano/keyboard or acoustic guitar with strong vocal skills
• Ability to read music, chord charts, and lead sheets and direct a worship team
• Ability to pass required background checks and Cannon AFB access requirements
