Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required
- Experience: Healthcare Public Safety/Police, preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: IAHSS Basic and/or Adv Training Certifications within 6 months of hire, required. NCPPSB Armed Security Office Registration Permit within 12 months of hire, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire, required
- Additional Skills (required): BLS/CPR within 90 days of hire through employment
- Additional Skills (preferred): Security, law enforcement or military experience
No criminal record.
Maintains valid driver's license in the state of residence.
Maintains compliance with the Novant Health Vehicle Use, Requirements & Guidelines Policy.
Immediately notifies Director of Public Safety or Public Safety Manager of any and all charges relating to the operation of a motor vehicle and/or criminal complaint.
