Prosthetist and or Orthotist Clinician
About the role
As a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist Clinician at Hanger, Inc. in Wausau, Wisconsin, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic care to patients. Your caseload will include a mix of hospital, inpatient/outpatient, pediatric, cranial, scoliosis, and prosthetics cases.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical assessment and treatment for patients requiring orthotic and prosthetic devices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform fitting, fabrication, and maintenance of orthotic and prosthetic devices.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
- Assist with on-call coverage as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics or related field.
- Board Eligibility or current certification as a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO/CO).
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Current CPR certification.
- Knowledge of O&P principles and techniques.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with 20 hours per week. Hours may vary based on patient needs and departmental requirements.
