Prosecution Internship

Responsibilities

• Legal research and writing
• Case file review
• Witness preparation assistance
• Drafting charging documents and motions
• Participating in court proceedings, including trials
• Engaging in all aspects of criminal prosecution for a municipality

Qualifications

• Must be a 2L or 3L student currently attending an accredited law school
• Must be eligible to practice under Rule 4-807 of the Supreme Court Rules of Professional Practice
• Must have completed a course on evidence and a course on criminal procedure
• Must pass a pre-employment background and drug test
• Background check and drug test required as part of employment conditions
