Propulsion Drawing Checker/CAD Modeler

About the role
You will be involved in creating engineering drawings from 3D solid models, drawing checking, and working through workflow issues to obtain release. You will work with designs from concepts to flight maturity hardware involving propulsion hardware from piece parts to engine assemblies and/or Propellant & Pressure Management (PPMS) systems. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and self-motivated individual comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Support design, analysis, manufacturing, and testing of propulsion piece parts and assemblies
- Generate CAD models and drawings of components and engine systems
- Work with various teams such as test and manufacturing teams
- Set the standard for checking drawings
Requirements
- 5+ years of rocket propulsion drawing experience
- 10+ years of CAD experience, particularly working with large assemblies
- Experience with CAD tools such as TC/NX, SolidWorks, CATIA
- Strong communication skills to effectively work in a highly collaborative environment
