Proposal Technical Writer

North South Consulting Group, LLC is a full-service government contracting firm seeking a skilled Proposal Technical Writer. This full-time, remote position may require some travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write high-quality proposals that meet client requirements and showcase our company's strengths
• Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and reader-friendly content that aligns with client requirements and evaluation criteria
• Work closely with subject matter experts, other teams, and project managers to gather necessary information and ensure technical accuracy in proposals
• Review and refine proposal content for clarity, grammar, and compliance, ensuring a consistent and professional tone
• Conduct thorough research on industry trends, client needs, and competitor offerings to enhance proposal content and strategy
• Maintain organized records of proposal content, templates, and past submissions for future reference and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum of five years of experience in technical writing or proposal development, within the government contracting sector

• Exceptional writing and editing abilities with keen attention to detail
• Ability to comprehend and articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
• Strong research and analytical skills to gather and synthesize information from various sources
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with proposal management tools
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple projects under tight deadlines
