Job Summary
This position is responsible for managing the timely development and delivery of high-quality responses for Wilson Language Training’s curricula, assessments, and professional learning to district and state-level Requests for Proposals, State Instructional Materials Adoptions, reviews, and similar initiatives. It requires strong skills in coordinating and communicating across various teams in a quick-moving, deadline-driven environment. Attention to detail to ensure proposals/submissions are of high quality, accurate, and responsive to requirements is critical.
Essential Job Functions
- Manges all aspects of WLT responses to district and state RFPs, listings, and State Instructional Materials Adoption submissions, as assigned by Proposal Director.
- Consults with relevant staff and stakeholders to facilitate a go/no go decision.
- Develops proposal responses to align with submission requirements through original writing; drawing on existing bank of responses and program descriptions; and enlisting and coordinating with subject-matter experts, as needed.
- Consults with subject matter experts throughout the company to develop and finalize responses.
- Creates and manages project timelines and ensures on time, compliant delivery of submissions
- Supports management of Content Library and provides strategic writing initiatives to update and expand library content.
- Identifies, tracks, and prioritizes upcoming submission opportunities.
- Analyzes opportunities for alignment to WLT programs/professional learning and company priorities.
- Stays current on all WLT program and professional learning developments, updates, and revisions.
- Stays current on educational research related to Wilson programs.
- Understands and display WLT’s values.
Minimum Requirements
- Skills: Strong background in responding to district and state RFPs and requests to review ELA instructional programs, Assessments, and professional learning programs. (Experience with State Instructional Materials Adoptions preferred)
- Understanding of best practices in literacy instruction and teacher training/professional learning practices.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience using proposal automation systems (such as Loopio, Qvidian, Responsive, etc.).
- Strong writing and editing capabilities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Able to work in a deadline-driven, high-pressure RFP environment.
- Able to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet simultaneous deadlines.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels.
- Able to work with highly confidential and sensitive documents and information and maintain confidentiality to protect the company.
Education or Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience responding to district and state-level opportunities for educational curriculum and assessment systems (ELA/foundational literacy programs, Assessment systems preferred).
Anticipated Salary Range
$80,000 to $100,000
