Proposal Development Specialist (9002)

Position Status

5-month contract to permanent

Pay

$25‑$30 an hour during contract (OT pay)

Schedule

7 A – 5 P; Monday through Friday (Fully onsite)

Responsibilities

• Receive project specifications from Project Estimators to determine proposal content
• Contact vendors to determine material costs
• Create proposals by entering project materials and costs into proposal template
• Track and provide scheduled updates on proposal progress
• Ensure proposals are completed on time and with accuracy
• Maintain files and reference material
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to research and synthesize information from various sources
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
• Must have a great mindset, be self‑driven, and willing to learn
• Knowledge of physical security or electrical equipment is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to see color to discern plans

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to work Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; additional work may be required
• Must possess and maintain a satisfactory background record
