About the Role
The Private/Public Sector Coordinator supports the planning, development, organization, production, and submission of proposals for Richard Group. This role works closely with Business Development, Marketing, Estimating, Operations, Safety, Quality Control, design partners, JV/Mentor-Protégé partners, and subcontractors to ensure each proposal is compliant, complete, professionally produced, and submitted on time. The Private/Public Sector Coordinator is responsible for helping manage the proposal process from solicitation review through final submission.
This position is highly deadline-driven and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple pursuits at once.
Responsibilities
- Maintain proposal schedules, calendars, compliance matrices, and action trackers
- Review solicitations, amendments, and proposal instructions
- Organize proposal kickoff materials and attend internal kickoff/pre-bid meetings
- Track required forms, attachments, resumes, project sheets, and certifications
- Coordinate with Capture, Marketing, Estimating, Operations, Safety, QC, and executive leadership
- Draft, edit, proofread, and format proposal content
- Maintain proposal folders and proposal library materials
- Track questions, RFIs, clarifications, amendments, and deadlines
- Support color team reviews and final compliance checks
- Prepare final submission files, PDFs, bookmarks, tabs, labels, and upload packages
- Verify that proposals are submitted before the deadline
- Maintain lessons learned and post-submission records
Requirements
- 2–5 years of proposal coordination, marketing coordination, bid coordination, or support experience
- Experience supporting construction proposals, design-build proposals, or public/private sector bids
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Teams, and SharePoint skills
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and formatting skills
- Ability to read and interpret solicitation instructions
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with technical staff and translate input into clear proposal language
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting small business participation plans or subcontracting plans

Pay
Pay Range: $70,000.00–$95,000.00. The base salary range for this position as of posting is Richard’s good faith estimate of the possible compensation for this role. The range for this role takes into account the factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
