About the role
This is a direct hire position 100% on site in Irvine for the first year, and hybrid on site afterwards. Salary is up to $120k/year + commission.
Responsibilities
- Support the manager in bid response and RFP responses using InDesign for traditional work and MS Office/Adobe for new acquisitions.
- Collect info, budgets, timelines, resources, etc. as part of responses between engineering and sales teams.
- Lead the full lifecycle of proposal development for public-sector RFP/RFQ responses.
- Write, edit, and refine clear, compelling, and compliant proposal content.
- Ensure submissions are accurate, high-quality, and delivered on deadline.
- Manage timelines, formatting, compliance requirements, and submission logistics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align proposals with broader sales objectives.
- Design infographics and visuals that simplify complex concepts and data.
- Develop clean, professional layouts using Adobe InDesign and related tools.
- Manage and maintain a centralized library of reusable proposal content.

- Coordinate inputs across teams to ensure cohesive and complete deliverables.
- Lead the creation of executive-level slide decks for RFP/RFQ interviews and presentations.
- Coordinate across teams to ensure messaging consistency and impact.
- Partners with marketing to support broader sales materials and branding.
- Build strong, productive relationships across internal teams.
Requirements
- 1-2+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe InDesign and graphic design tools.
- Strong writing, editing, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience responding to municipal or public-sector RFPs/RFQs.
- Background in consulting environments.
- Exposure to or experience with systems integration work.
