About the role

We are seeking a Building Manager to support our USMC contract. This role involves maintaining and preserving real property assets, managing operational costs, and providing quality facility-related services. Key responsibilities include coordinating all on-site building operations, maintenance, alterations, cleaning, recycling, safety, environmental, and security activities. Handling customer requests, investigating repair needs, preparing specifications, and monitoring repairs are also part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and preserve real property assets, manage operational costs, and ensure quality facility-related services.
• Coordinate all on-site building operations, maintenance, alterations, cleaning, recycling, safety, environmental, and security activities.
• Receive and address customer requests for service, complaints, and other issues, coordinating appropriate action or resolution.
• Investigate and determine the need for repairs or enhancement projects, and coordinate necessary repairs or projects.
• Analyze and monitor the impact on building systems and equipment to determine facility capability in meeting customer needs.
• Prepare reviews and/or consider lifecycle condition analysis and similar assessments.
• Integrate and quantify requirements into a scope of work for the project.
• Prepare specifications for estimates and monitor repairs by contractors to all items of operating equipment and utilities, including electrical systems, water supply, and sewage systems.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for prolonged periods, lifting/moving up to 50 pounds, walking up and down flights of stairs.
• Delegation and multi-tasking ability, while working in a fast-paced environment.
