Property Manager (Memphis, TN)

About the role

Wesley Living is a faith-based organization managing affordable senior living communities in Memphis and beyond. The Property Manager oversees day-to-day operations, ensures compliance with company policies and regulations, and manages various aspects of the community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of compliance, including initial and annual certifications and audit-ready resident files.
• Manage the waiting list, conduct tours, and oversee the leasing process from application to move-in.
• Collect rent and work with vendors for cost-effective maintenance and repairs.
• Act as a primary point of contact for residents and their families, resolving conflicts with empathy while maintaining community standards.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure the building is clean, accessible, and hazard-free for residents with varying mobility needs.
• Collaborate with the Service Coordinator to encourage social engagement and connect residents with local resources.

Requirements

• 3 years in a supervisory position required.
• Associate's Degree or higher and certifications in field preferred.
• Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, electronic, face-to-face.
• Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Experience with computer systems including Microsoft Office products, HUD online systems, and industry-specific software.
• Experience with multi-organizations or a single organization with multi-sites a plus.
