About The Role As Property Manager, you will take an active leadership role in the day-to-day operations of the community. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a high-quality living environment, supporting your team, building positive resident relationships, and achieving strong operational and financial performance. Key Responsibilities Maintain high occupancy and support leasing and retention effortsBuild strong, positive relationships with residents and address concerns professionallyOversee rent collection and ensure timely paymentsManage leases, renewals, and related documentationLead, supervise, train, and develop office and maintenance team membersMonitor employee performance and provide ongoing coaching and supportOversee the appearance, upkeep, and maintenance of the propertyPromote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents and employeesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with local officials, police, and fire departmentsEnsure property operations are organized, efficient, and compliant with company standardsUtilize technology and property management systems to effectively manage daily operations What We're Looking For 2+ years of Property Manager experience, preferably with market-rate residential propertiesStrong leadership and team-management skillsExcellent communication and resident-relations skillsHighly organized with exceptional attention to detailComfortable using technology and property management softwareStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesProfessional, dependable, and proactive approachAbility to balance resident service, team leadership, and business objectives What JCMLiving Offers We believe our employees deserve to enjoy the same great quality of life that we strive to provide for our residents.
