Property Manager - Bilingual
About the Role
Peabody Properties, Inc. seeks an experienced and seasoned Bilingual Property Manager to oversee an apartment community in Boston's South End. This historic community boasts beautiful red bricks synonymous with the South End. The ideal candidate will effectively oversee all property operations and the overall direction of all site office and maintenance staff while ensuring compliance with the existing Project-Based Section 8 Program, EIV, prepare budgets, monitor compliance within budget constraints, and complete and oversee processing of all resident certification/recertification forms.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all property operations and site office/maintenance staff.
- Ensure compliance with Project-Based Section 8 Program and EIV.
- Prepare and monitor budgets.
- Complete and oversee processing of resident certification/recertification forms.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Knowledgeable about affordable housing programs, including federally-assisted, and all state and local housing regulations.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize.
- Solid administrative, organizational, computer, and resident relations skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years related property management and supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Knowledge of Onesite is a plus.
- Project-Based Section 8 recertification experience required.

Pay
Competitive pay starting at $85K, commensurate with experience.
