Responsibilities

• Lead, communicate, coach, mentor, and train your team
• Balance your role as a team leader and business savvy strategist
• Advocate for your team to enhance individual performance
• Provide excellent service to internal and external customers
• Proactively manage your property and maintain compliance with Fair Housing laws and regulations
• Manage budgets, lease agreements, rent collection, and other property management tasks
• Ensure property safety and use appropriate property management and accounting software
• Occasionally travel to manage properties

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience as a residential property manager
• Prior supervisory experience: selection and hiring, team training and coaching, budget processing
• Working knowledge of multifamily property management practices and processes
• A strong understanding of bottom-line and ability to balance income and expenses
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations, building and grounds maintenance, resident relations, leasing, rent collection, eviction procedures, and property safety
• Experience using property management and accounting software
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
