Why You Should Apply You are a highly detailed and exceptionally organized problem solverYou understand how to independently prioritize and optimize your timeYou have a strong accounts payable or accounting backgroundYou possess excellent computer skills and are well versed in Microsoft suite and property management software applicationsYou have a positive attitude and work well under pressure and demanding deadlinesYou want to work for a company that offers top industry pay, paid time off, and excellent benefits Responsibilities Include Primary management of daily functions for a 160 unit high rise buildingManage the collection of rent and rent collection activities including issuing collection notices and court appearances if necessaryResponsible for proper income accounting and deposits at the bankManage and optimize leasing and applicant approvalImplement marketing and leasing initiatives that ensure maximum occupancyOptimize the tenant relations and resident retention activities of the communityMaintain minimal delinquent rent through personal contact and follow upAssist the Regional Manager in the followingRecruitment, supervision, training, development, motivation and, if necessary, the termination of staffMotivate employees in a positive environmentCoordinate with maintenance staff daily to ensure timely completion of work orders, apartment turns, and maintaining and improving overall property conditionBudget control, purchase orders, work orders, contract bids and management of capital improvement projects as well as normal operating budgets Physically walk and inspect community on a daily basisIdentify and correct any areas that could pose a liability to the company, including but not limited to the condition of the property and conduct of employeesAny other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager Requirements Minimum High School Education or GEDMust have at least 1 year experience in property managementMust demonstrate a working knowledge of the use of computersExceptional problem-solving skillsStrong leadership and communication skillsOutstanding customer service and marketing skillsExcellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects or tasksAn outgoing personality, proven reliability, and a willingness to learnApplicants must be willing to adapt to a fast-paced and quickly changing environmentGoal orientated, enthusiastic individuals are desiredCandidates must be willing to work flexible hoursExperience with Yardi is highly desired Benefits In addition to base salary, employees have the potential to earn an additional annual bonus of up to 20% of their annual salary by meeting performance goals.
