Position Overview

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of residential properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction and efficient property management.
  • Oversee leasing activities, including tenant screening, lease agreements, and renewals.
  • Care for property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of property expenses, budgets, and financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding property management and tenant relations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve property value and occupancy rates.
  • Respond to tenant inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of property staff and contractors.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial statements for the properties.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Proven experience in property management or a related field is essential.
  • A strong knowledge of property management principles and practices is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment is important.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, first shift. 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of Property Management experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
  • Yardi experience is required.
  • Experience managing multifamily communities is desirable.
  • Strong resident relations and customer service skills are important.
  • Knowledge of leasing, renewals, collections, and notices is beneficial.
  • Experience maintaining resident files and compliance documentation is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is critical.
